NYC 311

NYC 311 is the largest civic-complaint dataset any U.S. city publishes. This track collects stories that use it as a lens on what New Yorkers actually call about (and what the press wishes they did): the long-arc growth in noise complaints as an environmental-stress signal, the debunking of the 'social disorder hotline' framing, and the boundary-mismatch problem that fragments how the same complaint gets routed through different jurisdictional polygons.
